My relatives are into Lutefisk, or maybe they're just into joking about it, taunting me with it. I've never had it, and have no intention of having it. LOL!
BUT I'd be lost if I had oatmeal chocolate cookie dough in the house. Yikes! Cookies are one of my downfalls, so I either have to bake only enough to have one or two and let the kids devour the rest or not bake at all. Maybe make the cookies, save one for you, and give the rest away. Do you like your neighbors?
The lutefisk thing is a joke with me. Fish with lye??? That's like fish soap. I did try it once and...gag...never again. I'm NOT picky but oh my.
I made the cookies...and a big pot of chili...for the kids' basketball concessions tonight. So most of them sold except for the dozen that were very brown that I left at home...and the three I ate...and the lonely clumps of dough that found their way past my lips...because you can't just leave those poor things on the edge of the bowl by themselves. Sigh...my treadmill is glaring at me, and my scale is going to be laughing at me if I don't get with it.
